Chemistry graduate student Liz Pillar recently won the Outstanding Student Paper Award from the American Geophysical Union. The AGU Fall Meeting is the largest worldwide conference in the geophysical sciences, attracting more than 24,000 Earth and space scientists, educators, students, and other leaders. Only the top 3-5% of presenters are awarded an Outstanding Student Paper Award.
